Practice – Newcomer, Intermediate & Pre-Bronze

Royal Oak Women’s Institute (ROWI) Hall is available Thursday evenings from 7-9 PM. We are going to host practices for Newcomer, Intermediate and Pre-Bronze dancers on February 3rd, 10th, and 17th. Depending on participation we will either continue with it or host a different event.

I would encourage all dancers at that level to make use of the opportunity. I cannot overstate how important practicing is to your overall enjoyment of dancing. Not only the obvious – improvement, but practices are a great environment for getting to know fellow dancers.

Pre-Bronze & Bronze classes merged

The Friday night Pre-Bronze and Bronze classes were merged into a single Pre-Bronze class. There weren’t enough participants in either class so everyone got together and decided a single class was better than no class and rather than just an hour of Tango for five weeks, they would get Liz to teach the whole Pre-Bronze syllabus for 1.5 hour lessons over nine weeks. Liz is confident that she can cover all figures required for Pre-Bronze Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Samba, Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive in the 14.5 hours available.

There is still room – you haven’t missed too much and if you join now, the tuition will be prorated.
