Suspension of VBDS Classes and Practices effective March 17, 2020

Dear VBDS members and dancers,
VBDS Classes and Practices Suspended as of March 17, 2020 in response to the March 16, 2020 provincial health update re: COVID-19
As the situation in BC continues to change, and in response to the most recent update from BC’s health minister and medical health officer, the VBDS board has suspended all VBDS classes and practices effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020 and until April 5, 2020.  No VBDS classes or practices will run during this period.  If the situation has improved, and venues are open, all classes and practices will resume following April 5th.
Current VBDS students enrolled in classes, you will not need to indicate that you require a credit for the remaining classes in this session.  At this time, we are planning to have the classes resume and the final classes in this session completed, without re-registration. We will keep you advised as we plan in this dynamic and changeable environment.  If you have any concerns, please email
Wednesday, Friday and Sunday practices will be suspended for 3 weeks.  As of March 17th, the Les Passmore Centre and the Cedar Hill Recreation Centre have closed and all rentals are stopped. We will provide you with updates as they occur.
The health and safety of our members and the greater community is our priority. Thank you for your patience, support and understanding.
The VBDS Board of Directors
