This free, drop-in event is open to everyone — whether you’re brand new to ballroom or already love to dance. Moving to music is a wonderful way to lift your mood, reduce stress, and share joyful moments with others.

As a volunteer-run non-profit, VBDS thrives on community spirit. This is a great opportunity to meet some of our volunteers, learn about what we do, and discover how dancing brings people together in Victoria.

Our three-week Intro to Ballroom is perfect for absolute beginners who want a fun, welcoming, low-pressure way to step onto the dance floor. Over three weeks, you’ll be introduced to six classic ballroom and Latin dances: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, and Jive. Open to members and non-members.
