Partner Finder Page
Shortly after things opened up post-Covid, we started this page to help solo dancers find a steady partner. I’m not sure how many partnerships developed from it but after quite a few submissions and the initial buzz, it kind of fizzled. We’ve had some recent requests so we are going to try again. Originally we didn’t post photos but thought we might try that. Our intent is not to create a dating site but maybe photos are another piece to help folks connect.
If you are not comfortable posting a pic, that is totally fine. You can choose/provide your own avatar or we can find one for you 🙂
Please note, while we ask for your contact info so we can get ahold of you should a potential partner emerge, your last name, phone number and email will remain hidden.
Check back frequently and if you see someone who might be a good fit for you, contact us at partnermatch@vbds.org and we will connect you.
If you have any comments or suggestions for the structure of this page please submit them. This is your website and we need to make it work for you. Thank you… Michael

Jane is 5′-4″ / 163cm tall, is a beginner level dancer and is seeking a partner for classes and practicing.
In her own words: Hello, My name is Jane and I am a beginner with ballroom dancing. In the past I took lessons at the beginner (1 & 2) level and I attended practices regularly. Then life got busy and I stopped dancing for a half dozen years. I want to start dancing again and would love to find a lead to dance with me. I hope to re-take the beginners level classes as well as attend practices.
Bonnie is 5′-6″ / 168cm tall, is an intermediate level dancer and is seeking a partner for classes, practicing, possibly social events and competing.
In her own words:
Hello fellow dance lovers!
My name is Bonnie, and I am currently looking for a dance partner to share in the joy of dance and to improve our skills together. I have been dancing for a few years, and I have tried different styles including salsa, bachata, merengue, swing, ballroom (waltz, cha-cha, tango, foxtrot, etc.), Argentine tango, etc. I love them all, and I am eager to find a partner who shares this passion and is committed to practicing regularly and possibly participating in social events, workshops or even competitions.
I believe that a good partnership is built on communication, mutual respect and, of course, a shared love of dance. If you or someone you know is looking for a dance partner with similar interests, I would love to connect and see if we might be a good match.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to the possibility of dancing together!
Best regards,
Bonnie
