Tony and Gloria are the Directors and Coaches for TGDancesport and one of the most accomplished ballroom dancers in Canada. In their amateur career, they became Canadian Champions and were 7-time undefeated BC Champions. They now compete in the Professional Master Division and were bronze World Finalists in the World Championships. They return to Italy regularly for intensive training and to continue to learn from the most successful dance school in the world. With over 25 years of dance experience, they offer a systematic approach to teaching as well as proven training methods used to train Champions.
Workshop Topics
Couple Position: In standard dancing, the contact point between partners needs to be precise and maintained. Learn the 9 different positions of centre and when it is used to maintain a clean top line.
Changing Positions of Centre: Learn how to effectively change couple position of common figures without distortion.
Partnering Skills: Does your partner complain about you? “Your lead is not clear. You are too fast. Too slow. Too heavy.” Learn how to improve your partnering skills to be a better partner and improve your lead/follow.
When and How to Sway: Not all sways are the same. Learn the 3 different types of sways and the difference in their functionality and purpose.
We need a minimum of ten people to run this event but registration will be limited to twenty. You can reserve your spot by emailing: classes@vbds.org

Price: $100 for VBDS Members, $120 for non-members (NBDS members pay the VBDS member rate)
