Detailed Class Description: Welcome to the world of dance! VBDS classes strive to be comfortable and inviting making it easy to step onto the dance floor and have fun while learning something new. This six week set of one hour classes is Part 1 of the Newcomer 1 Course. Wanda will cover the Beginner Level steps (syllabus figures) in Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive. By the end of the session students will have been introduced to the basic movement, footwork and music for each dance, as well as partnering, learning to move together.
