Intro to Ballroom

What: Intro to Ballroom Workshop Series – Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Rumba & Jive

When: Thursdays, 6:30 – 7:30 PM, September 12^th to 26^th

Where: Les Passmore / Saanich Silver Threads

Price: $37.⁵⁰ for VBDS members, $45 for non-members

This is where it all begins. Over three Thursday evenings, Wanda will teach the basics in three standard and three Latin ballroom dances: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive. The emphasis is on having fun, dancing as a couple and discovering no, you don’t have two left feet!

These workshops are not a pre-requisite for the Level 2 Newcomer class that follows starting on Thursday, October 3^rd but will help in transitioning to the next level.

Please note, you DO NOT need a partner to register for classes or workshops. As needed, we will attempt to balance classes with volunteers. Although not required, students will be encouraged to change partners as dancing with different people is very beneficial to learning.

Registration will close one-week before the start of classes and if there are inadequate numbers, the class will be cancelled. Your early registration will help determine the viability of this class/workshop. If you want to pay later, pull down the “PayPal” field and change it to “Pay offline”, the reserve your spot.
