Couple Position Workshops with Gaétan Rouette

What: Technique Workshops with Gaetan Rouette – Couple Positions in Standard Dances.

When: Sundays 10:30 – noon, June 9^th, 16^th and 23^rd.
* * * NOTE * * * The gym will be open at 10:00 AM for students to warm up before the workshop.

Price: $90 for VBDS members, $110 for non-members

VBDS is pleased to be able to offer a three-week series of workshops with one of Canada’s top coaches, Gaetan Rouette. Gaetan was ten-dance champion in Quebec and is an adjudicator with Canada DanceSport. Our final, three-week workshop series of the season will focus on Couple Position. Gaetan will cover the technical information and exercises required to achieve the 9 positions of centre or nine couple positions for the 5 standard dances and how to transition properly between each one.

Please note, you DO NOT need a partner to register for classes or workshops. As needed, we will attempt to balance classes with volunteers. As well, while not required, students will be encouraged to change partners as this really enhances the learning experience.

Registration will close one-week before the start of classes and if there are inadequate numbers, the class will be cancelled.
