Intro to Ballroom

What: Intro to Ballroom Workshops- Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Rumba & Jive

When: Thursdays, 6:30 – 7:30 PM, June 26, July 3, 10

Where: Centennial United Church Dance Studio

Price: $37⁵⁰ for VBDS members, $45.00 for non-members.

Over three Thursday evenings, Victor will teach the basics in three standard and three Latin ballroom dances: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive. The emphasis is on having fun and dancing as a couple. We will focus on basic elements for Ballroom and Latin: change steps, triple steps, rocks and turns. There will be a lot of dancing, so don’t hesitate to try it out!

Please note, you DO NOT need a partner to register for classes or workshops. As needed, we will attempt to balance classes with volunteers. As well, while not required, students will be encouraged to change partners as this really enhances the learning experience.
