What: Technique Workshops with Gaétan Rouette – Head Weight

When and Where: Note the different Sunday times and locations

• February 25th 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM at Les Passmore,
• March 10th 1:30 – 3:00 PM at Centennial United Church Dance Studio
• March 24th 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Les Passmore

* * * NOTE * * * The gym at Les Passmore will be open at 10:00 AM for students to warm up before the workshop.

Price: $95 for VBDS members, $120 for non-members

VBDS is pleased to be able to offer a three-week series of workshops with one of Canada’s top coaches, Gaétan Rouette. Gaétan was ten-dance champion in Quebec and is an adjudicator with Canada DanceSport. Our third, three-week workshop series will focus on head weight. While to some, this may sound like an odd subject matter, head weight is an important factor in balance and lead and follow movement.

Please note, you DO NOT need a partner to register for classes or workshops. As needed, we will attempt to balance classes with volunteers. As well, while not required, students will be encouraged to change partners as this enhances the learning experience.

Registration will close one-week before the start of classes and if there are inadequate numbers, the class will be cancelled.
