Detailed Class Description: West Coast Swing keeps the momentum going with Part 2 of this popular workshop. This smooth, versatile partner dance fits beautifully to blues, jazz, and contemporary music, and is known for its relaxed style and playful connection. In this three-week continuation workshop, John will build on the foundations introduced earlier while continuing to develop technique and connection skills for dancers at every level. Beginners can still join comfortably, while returning dancers will deepen timing, movement quality, and musical expression. Open to members and non-members.
No VBDS membership is required to participate, making this the perfect low-commitment way to explore VBDS, meet other dancers, and decide if you’d like to become a member.

Over three weeks, you’ll be introduced to six classic ballroom and Latin dances: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, and Jive. Open to members and non-members.
