Detailed Class Description: West Coast Swing returns by popular request! This smooth, versatile partner dance fits beautifully to blues, jazz, and contemporary music, and is known for its relaxed style and playful connection. In this four-week workshop, John will teach technique and connection skills that support dancers at every level. Beginners will build a comfortable foundation, while more experienced dancers can refine timing, movement quality, and musical expression. Open to members and non-members.
No VBDS membership is required to participate, making this the perfect low-commitment way to explore VBDS, meet other dancers, and decide if you’d like to become a member.

Our three-week Intro to Ballroom is perfect for absolute beginners who want a fun, welcoming, low-pressure way to step onto the dance floor. Over three weeks, you’ll be introduced to six classic ballroom and Latin dances: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, and Jive. Open to members and non-members.
